Hello,
I am attempting to build "make" from make-3.80 for use in compiling
GCC 3.2.2. In using HP's ANSI/C compiler, I get the following errors --
# ./build.sh
compiling ar.c...
compiling arscan.c...
compiling commands.c...
compiling default.c...
compiling dir.c...
cc: "dir.c", line 1180: warning 562: Redeclaration of "stat" with a
different storage class specifier: "stat" will have internal linkage.
compiling expand.c...
compiling file.c...
cc: "file.c", line 766: warning 604: Pointers are not assignment-compatible.
cc: "file.c", line 766: warning 563: Argument #2 is not the correct type.
compiling function.c...
compiling getopt.c...
compiling getopt1.c...
compiling implicit.c...
compiling job.c...
compiling main.c...
compiling misc.c...
compiling read.c...
compiling remake.c...
compiling rule.c...
compiling signame.c...
compiling variable.c...
cc: "variable.c", line 1209: warning 604: Pointers are not
assignment-compatible.
cc: "variable.c", line 1209: warning 563: Argument #2 is not the correct
type.
compiling version.c...
compiling vpath.c...
compiling hash.c...
compiling address@hidden@.c...
cc: warning 485: Can't open "./address@hidden@.c".
Without modifying too much code, what flag-option(s) would I require to
build this utility successfully?
Thanks in advance,
