hi...

I need to know how the -j switch in make works....Its
for my

It CANNOT be just

1)Create a dependency graph
2)Do a topological sort
3)Now traverse thru the sorted list and do fork &&
exec

...

Does it use threads by any means???

I tried reading the make source but it was too complex
to understand

thnks

haynes
