To find this in the manual easily, enter an Info reader, and then type
"i target-specific RET". This uses the index of the manual to
instantly get you to the place where a given subject is discussed.
The `i' command provides completion, so typing "i target TAB TAB" will
show the list of possible completions.
To enter the Info reader with the Make manual, type from the shell
prompt "info make". Alternatively, "C-h i m make RET" will do the
same in Emacs.
