I was failed on defining a rule pattern variable and using it in sub-sub-make.
So I collect all the affect code pieces on gist:
https://gist.github.com/leaveye/72effc55ba5ed246a7df
my output is:
> # pattern-of-arg-a-and-arg-b
> make[1]: Entering directory `.../testmake'
> # pattern-of--and-
> make[1]: Leaving directory `.../testmake'
which is supposed to be same pattern output.
I was tested on Ubuntu 14.04 with GNU Make 3.81
Thanks for any idea.
