Hi,
I'm not sure if this is the right place for this, but here goes. I am
having problems compiling smalltalk-2.0.5/6 in a Solaris 7 environment
with gcc. The pertinent part of the 'make' process is as follows:
make[2]: Entering directory `/gaul/packages/localsrc/smalltalk-2.0.6'
SMALLTALK_KERNEL="`cd ./kernel; pwd`" \
SMALLTALK_IMAGE="`pwd`" \
./gst -iQ dummy_file
gst: Bus error
gst: Error occurred while not in byte code interpreter!!
make[2]: *** [gst.im] Bus Error (core dumped)
make[2]: Leaving directory `/gaul/packages/localsrc/smalltalk-2.0.6'
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/gaul/packages/localsrc/smalltalk-2.0.6'
make: *** [all] Error 2
Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
- Scott
