texi2pdf image errors

I can't seem to figure out why I get this message when converting a texi
file to a pdf file with an image in it:

Error: pdftex (file address@hidden ): cannot open image file
/usr/bin/texi2dvi: pdftex exited with bad status, quitting.
/usr/bin/texi2dvi: see test.log for errors.

The image is stored as a pdf, and I can't locate the test.log file.  Any
help would be greatly appreciated.
