Yes, definitely! It just delegates the task to texi2dvi, as
indicated:

The kewl thing is you still can specify the page range, destination
(printer or not), 2 up-ing and so on. I especially enjoy
a2ps -=book foo.texi
which prints a booklet. You need a Duplex printer.
