Hi Jan,
To index LilyPond \commands used troughout the reference manual
properly, we need to have something like
@macro refcommand{WHAT}
@cindex @address@hidden
@code{\WHAT\},
@end macro
Are you saying that Texinfo needs a @backslash{} command? If so, does
\\ work in that context? Or is something else going wrong?
@code{\WHAT\},
BTW, wouldn't that be @address@hidden (Or \\\WHAT\.)
Personally, as you know, I'd recommend dropping the macro and just
writing the index commands in the document, but I doubt you like that
idea.
