Nooooo!  It is not a2ixin's place to usurp makeinfo.

On the other hand, if you start feeling all crazy and polyglot, i would
be happy to contribute a2ixin as a captive (non-user-visible) program
for makeinfo to call out to.  Maybe you'll regain your senses then.  :-D
