[help-texinfo] Preventing word split at the end of a line |

Hi,
When I use texi2pdf on an input.texi file, some words at the end of
the line get split, and continue on the next line, separated with a
hyphen. For example:
=== OUTPUT ===
high-stakes negotia-
tions over the future of the company
=== END ===
Is there a way for texinfo to prevent such word splits, and instead
adjust the whitespace automatically?
I am using the following texinfo packages on Fedora 20 (x86_64).
texinfo-tex-5.1-4
texinfo-5.1-4
Appreciate any inputs in this regard.
Thanks!
SK
