Is there a way to make @see support hyphenation?

I often have very long link names in my @see statements, e.g.

    @see{easyUnsetOpt_SSL_SessionID_Cache, easy:UnsetOpt_SSL_SessionID_Cache}

This often leads to overlong lines since hyphenation doesn't seem to be applied 
to @see links. Is there any way to make @see apply hyphenation and split the 
link in two parts, continuing on the next line?
