When I have SSH2 installed (RedHat 6+) and try to login through pserver, I get
a strange error as follows:
----------------------------------------------------------------
$ cvs -d :pserver:address@hidden:/cvsroot login
(Logging in to address@hidden)
CVS password:
cvs [login aborted]: unrecognized auth response from host.org: CVS commands
are:
$
----------------------------------------------------------------
The only way to access CVS is then by setting the CVS_RSH variable to ssh.
*BUT* then you can't do anonymous CVS (SSH requires a real account)!!!
Help!
