Re: login error with pserver on Windows 98

Try setting the environment variable $HOME=C:

When I try to login to the CVS server from a Windows 98 machine, I get the error message,

 

(Logging in to address@hidden)

CVS.EXE [login aborted]: could not find out home directory

 

Here's the command I've been using (on all clients):

 

cvs -d :pserver:address@hidden:/vol/cvs login

 

Any ideas?
