All,
The doc of the protocol says :
<snip>
The pserver server listens on a port (in the current implementation, by having
inetd call "cvs pserver") which defaults to 2401 (this port is officially
registered). The client connects, and sends the following:
<snip>
"The client connects", what does that mean ?
If I execute "telnet myhost 2401" then type BEGIN AUTH REQUEST then Return, the
server says :
<snip>
cvs [pserver aborted]: bad auth protocol start: BEGIN AUTH REQUEST"
</snip>
Where am I wrong ?
Thanks.
- pserver,
