Because those two files didn't come from CVS. Most likely, they're new
files someone has checked in to CVS, but the copies in the directory
you're updating were copied there directly rather than being checked out
from CVS. Now the update is trying to check them out, but it can't
because there are already files there with the same name and it won't
just overwrite them since you might want to keep them. If you're sure
you *don't* want to keep them, you can just delete them.
