cvs pserver under OS/2 Warp 4

Hi,

I am trying to get cvs (v1.9.29) pserver up and running under OS/2 Warp.
I have followed the readme and started inetd and added cvs to inetd.lst
as "cvspserver tcp cvs --allow-root=f:\cvsroot\". I have added an entry
to services. And all that is working ok - but when ever I try to login I
get rejected by the server. To setup users I have done the following:

- checked out cvsroot
- used cvspw to add a user with a password
- added passwd to checkoutlist
- uncommented "SystemAuth=no" in config
- added the file passwd to the repository
- committed the changed files
- restarted inetd

This kept giving me errors about "//.cvspass" could not be found so I
copied passwd to cvspass and commited (and restarted inetd). Now I get
"cvs.exe [login aborted]: authorization failed: server localhost rejected
access" on my login try.

Is there anybody out there that has this up and running?

Greetings
  Søren
