Sorry, not sure I understand.. UTC is the standard
"universal" time. 

Can you explain exactly what you want to do? 

I am not completely sure, it sounds to me like you want to look
at some kind of logs from AIX and have the time match
the commit messages' time in your CVS logs.. is that
correct?
