Heh...this is the opposite of what I was trying to avoid (if you were reading my posts.)

You could just restrict access to that subdir by changing user/group perms to only the user who need to access that subdir. Then make sure it's 770, or 700 for that user.

head that stepping on another developers toes is a bad thing, so I want to
either restrict access to that other developer's area to the developer
himself *or* prevent the 'wild card' from being able to commit to it ...
