I've seen extensions that are sometimes binary, sometimes text
(eg. MS uses it for some specific binary format, but some
freeware packages use it for text).  Can't remember offhand what
they were; maybe *.inf?

With sufficient thrust, pigs fly just fine. However, this is not
necessarily a good idea.
