CVS does clean up after itself. If the directories aren't getting
deleted, then either the related server processes are still running
(this can happen if the client doesn't close the connection properly --
the server process should eventually time out, but it can take a long
time), or they are crashing. You need to figure out which it is and
correct the underlying problem.
