Cvs checkout error!!

Hi,
I am getting following error when I try to checkout
with any of the users in the passwd file other than
admin.

Terminated with fatal signal 11
Core dumped; preserving /tmp/cvs-serv9187 on server.
CVS locks may need cleaning up.

Do you think I need to delete some entries in the /tmp
directory. Or shall I delete all the entries in the
/tmp directory ( it's not allowing to do so). Do you
have any solution for this. Please let me know? ( All
this is with the Corey Mineyard & Marty patches for
CVS permissions).

I am using -P option along with cvs command.
