"edit -c/commit -c" patches for 1.11 (Linux)

I know of "edit -c/commit -c" patches for 1.10.8 (on sourceforge), but does anyone know of these patches for standard Linux distribution v 1.11?

Or alternatively has anyone got a binary distribution with these patches applied (Linux v1.11)? Thanks a lot.
