        Hello all!

What I do working for websites is have three "units of
information".

        1. CVS Repository
        2. CVS Working Copy
        3. Website online

The working copies are all in the same machine (this is not
mandatory) and the apache of the machine is configured using UserDir
directive. Then, each one of the development team can access to his/her
version of the website via http://www.mywebsite.com/~username/

When everything is ok, you can use a script to upload the CVS
Repository (basically, you can do an update), remove the CVS directories,
and publish it in the web server.

Coming soon, I'll write an article to
http://www.improveyourweb.com Check the website if you are interested in
web technologies.

        Hope this helps,
                Carlos.
