CVS Server running in Windows

Hi,

According to CVS' site the Windows version is experimental. Well, I've downloaded CVS 1.11.1p1 source and compiled it to Windows 2000 with Interix 2.2 without problems (in fact, I just had to comment out all the references to file systems links in filesubr.c).

Have you ever try this ? What do you think on that ? Do you see any disadvantages of using this Windows CVS server instead of a Solaris one ?

Please reply directly to me, as I didn't subscribe to this list yet.

Thanks.

ps: I've compiled it with (old!) gcc cygnus-2.7.2-970404, which is the version that comes with Microsoft Interix 2.2.
