Well, if the source were only availble via anon-cvs (rather than a
tarball), you should be able to just nab it from the cvs1-11-1p1 tag.

But actually, if you look at the downloads page, it has a link to "the
actual download pages"

That has a link for "All Platforms" which points you straight to
http://ftp.cvshome.org

where you can easily find
http://ftp.cvshome.org/LATEST/cvs-1.11.1p1.tar.gz

which is the tarball for the 1.11.1p1 source.
