The post below states that it works for version 1.11.1.1 (on Linux).
On Solaris, I've found it works for 1.10.7, but not 1.11.1p1. So is this
bug only in 1.11.1p1?

Works for me. CVS server version 1.11.1.1 (on Linux), with NT client,
version 1.11.
