cvs watches and email notifications

Thanks in advance for any help.

I'm setting up watches/notifications on a repository and it seems to work ok
as far as forwarding the emails from the unix (sendmail) machine to
MS/Exchange mail. I have referenced the CVS manual several times and there
doesn't appear to be much information on this, or at least I haven't found
it.

I used the default/supplied line in the CVSROOT/notify file (i.e. ALL mail
%s -s "CVS notification"). When I commit a file with a watch on it, I get a
message saying - mail: Options MUST PRECEDE persons.

So, I changed the line in the notify file to - ALL mail -s "CVS
notification" %s, re-edit and commit the file with the watch on it, and get
the message in my inbox without the subject.

How do I get the subject in my message? I realize that its the -s option
but with the latter implementation its not working. Also, how can I get the
commit log message in the notification and the new revision number?

Any examples of information anyone else puts in the notify message would
also be helpful.

Thanks again,

Lee Jones
