.cvspass file

Hello All,

I needed some help here trying to figure out what exactly is wrong with my CVS passwd. I had to change my login passwds on the UNIX boxes and my cvs passwd changed as well. But whenever I try to login I get the following error:
dev003> rm ~/.cvspass (I tried to remove the file thinking that might be the problem)
dev003> cvs -d :pserver:address@hidden:/usr/local/cvsroot login
(Logging in to address@hidden)
CVS password: (login gives no error not sure if I even get logged in, but in the next step when I try to run a cvs command)
dev003> cvs up -d *
cvs update: cannot find password
cvs [update aborted]: use "cvs login" to log in first
Any advice? Please help.

Thanks,
Brian
