WinCVS 1.3 login problem

I have a problem with WinCVS 1.3 when i do a login to the cvs server.
The cvs server is a remote linux machine. When i do a login to the cvs
server via pserver, address@hidden:/var/cvs
WinCVS can't connect to the cvs server and puts a "." after the server ip
"192.68.0.120."
Is there any way to eliminate this "." after the ip server?
