Yes.

Why is the sky blue?  It's corrupted because something corrupted it.  If
your repository is on some kind of shared network file system, then bugs
in the network file system code are almost certainly to blame.  If not,
then perhaps there are bugs in your operating system or you have a
hardware problem.

As I've said before, about all you can do is restore a good backup and
try to reapply the changes, or use it to try to repair the existing file
by hand.
