Sounds like it's not cleaning up properly after itself, or fails to find out
when the commit is finished.  Turn on debugging, and see what output you'll
get.

There was already a question about what the stdin of the loginfo script
would be, but I didn't see any reply to it.  I guess you just have to do
some simple experimentation to find out.

(and ... as mentionated before, the loginfo capabilities really are badly
designed)
