I am trying to switch from RCS to CVS. I recenly tried using cvs
1.11.1.1. For my company, we wanted to simulate the locking style of RCS of
only having one person edit the file at a time. I understand that CVS
doesn't directly support that and I understand why, but it had the command
admin -l to lock a file and we were just going by the protocol if you lock
it you can edit it it if not don't. and only unlock a file if you are the
one who locked it. That feature has been deprecated in the latest release.
Is there something else like that or should I use a previous version to have
that feature?
Thanks in advance
