Well, if you don't want to accept it, what, EXACTLY, are you going to do
about it?  Do you have a viable alternative tool waiting in the wings?
If so then why haven't you proposed it as an alternative?

That's not what I said at all.

I certainly didn't say that either.


CVS doesn't support renames, but it provides enough mechanism to make it
relatively easy to manually track renames and to manually perform
operations on renamed files that CVS itself can never do internally.

Anything that can be done manually can, obviously, also be scripted.
