Hi all,
Been playing with CVS and WinCVS for the last few days. I've been reading the
cederqvist manual and have a couple of questions
regarding the setup of modules:
Basically I have the following situation.
I have common development files for each client. (SOURCE)
Each client has client specific files. (CLIENT)
The final exported directory structure is for my WEB server software is as
follows:
/opt/WWW/CLIENT/_phpscripts # SOURCE files
/opt/WWW/CLIENT/_website # SOURCE and CLIENT files
/opt/WWW/CLIENT/_site # CLIENT files
I imported the CLIENT directory into a module called client
I imported the SOURCE directory into a module called SOURCE
I checked out the CVSROOT and tried modifying the modules file to get the flat
structure displayed above as follows:
CLIENT CLIENT &SOURCE
The problem is that when I check out the module CLIENT I get a directory
sturcture like this:
/opt/WWW/CLIENT/_website
/opt/WWW/CLIENT/_site
/opt/WWW/CLIENT/source/_phpscripts
/opt/WWW/CLIENT/source/_website
Is there any way to force the checkout of the CLIENT module to put those files
included from the SOURCE module into the top level
directory sturcture?
Regards
