cvs setup for dos/win source files

Has anyone setup cvs for a windows source files repository. I get that
problem with an extra CR or LF appended to each line, the result is
that all my source code is double spaced. Has anyone solved this
problem before. Someone suggested that I import the files as
binaries. But isn't there a better solution? I heard of cvsIndent? I
don't care about the indentatiom it's fine under windows. Can anyone
give me some advice.
