Connection refused on some Windows boxes

Hi

I have a strange problem.

I have a CVS reopsitory running on CVS server (ver. 1.10.8) in pserver mode
on RedHat 7.0 box.
Works great. I can connect from WinNT 4.0 Workstation, Win2k and Solaris
2.6 machines without any problem.
But on Win98 and WinNT 4.0 Server boxes i have the same response (CVS
client 1.10.5):

CVS.EXE [login aborted]: connect to 10.10.20.1:2401 failed: Connection
refused

OK.
Look at my clues:
- I use only IP addreses so this is not connected with name resolution,
- telnet 10.10.20.1 2401 works OK, I have a connection and proper response:
bad auth protocol start: ...
- I've run xined in debug mode - there was no message durring this failed
request.

And another clue:
- I tryed to use CVS client version 1.11p1 and this time the similar
message but with more info:

CVS.EXE [login aborted]: connect to 10.10.20.1(xx.xx.xx.xx):2401 failed:
Connection refused

where xx.xx.xx.xx is a strange IP addres I have no idea about.

I've tryed to find any answer on this list but with no result.
Perchaps this is a known problem, perchaps some path is required on server
or client, please help me.

Waiting for any help,
Tom.
