Yes -- see <http://ccvs.cvshome.org/servlets/ProjectSource>.  You want
either the command line or WinCVS instructions on that page.

That sounds like you ran make in the src subdirectory rather than in the
top-level directory, or perhaps something went wrong with the make in
the diff subdirectory.
