Or even google "free software consultants support GNU cvs united kingdom"
or something like that....

Cyclic was a company supporting CVS....   ;-)

CVShome.org is what became of the CVS-related pages maintained by Cyclic
after they were bought out.  If I'm not mistaken their current owner
also provides some degree of CVS consulting.

The FSF GNU Project also lists organisations supporting free software
like CVS:

        http://www.gnu.org/prep/service.html

However it's not a canonical list (I'm not on it, nor is my company, for
example!  :-)
