Reverting to the repository with update -d -P -C

Reverting to the repository with update -d -P -C |

It seems that the behavior of:
update -d -P -C
should be to completely revert to the repository. However if my working
directory has added, or removed files, those remain. In order to undo
those, I need to manually edit the CVS/Entries file.
Is there any other way to accomplish this without editing the CVS/Entries
file by hand?
