CVSNT is going its own separate route from CVS. I'd suggest
consulting their mailing list.

Now I have been trying to run CVS client on a Mac

I notice that you left out MacCVS. This is part of the WinCVS
project that apparently is falling in love with CVSNT, so that
might be better suited for your desires.

I suppose that's fair; I don't know that any of us on this list would
recommend using an NT as a CVS server. In general, given a barely
adequate NT box, you should be able to install Linux and have plenty
of capacity, using standard CVS, and it should be more reliable.

I have plenty of ideas how to get a CVS client to work on a Mac.
I use MacCVS at home quite successfully, and the others you mentioned
would probably also work just peachy. However, that's not what
you asked for initially.
