Python Shell not Recognized by WinCVS

Subject: Python Shell not Recognized by WinCVS

User-agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:0.9.4) Gecko/20011128 Netscape6/6.2.1

When I open WinCVS, the output pane does not indicate that there is a Python shell available, as shown below

> CVSROOT: c:\projects (local mounted directory)
> TCL is available, shell is enabled : help (select and press enter)

Also the Edit dropdown menu does not have the shell item to select between either the Tcl or Python shells as shown in the diagram in section 4.2.5 of the WinCVS manual.

Both shells are available from a windows xp command prompt indicating versions Tcl 8.4a2 and Python 2.2.

Would appreciate any suggestions ...

Thanks,

Jeff
