I know of no such patches.

I think it's a very bad idea to do such a thing.  The
only situation I can think of where reserved locks may
be preferable to advisory locks is when some people
ignore the procedures (or if there are no procedures).
 In this case, fix the real problem.

Why do you think you need reserved locks?
