Hello, cvs gurus,
i'm befuddled: i'm trying to write a cvs logging tool, similar to the
CVSROOT/log and log_accum samples which come with CVS. i cannot, for the
life of me, figure out how those two apps run the cvs status commands,
since there is no cvs tree for them to work in. When i try to manually
reproduce what those scripts are doing i (rightfully) get errors about no
CVSROOT set, etc. How does one run a cvs status command on the server
itself?
Many thanks in advance,
----- stephan
