"Host unknown" on WinCVS

Hi everybody,

in fact, I have 2 kinds of problems with WinCVS :
    - on my computer, I have installed WinCVS as a
client of a Unix server 
in the preferences of WinCVS, I have put : 
   ":pserver:address@hidden:/cvs/CIDRE" and it's OK
but, if I try to change the host, putting the IP
adress like this :
   ":pserver:address@hidden:/cvs/CIDRE" and WinCVS
tells me that the host is unknown 
(and I have no checkout workingspaces)
    - on others computers, I try to install WinCVS as
a client, putting exactly the same in the preferences
and it doesn't work...WinCVS tells me that the host is
unknown

have you have an idea of the problem please ?
