I tried to implement CVS on my machine under Windows2000.
Everything works fine, but when I commit, I get the error:
C:\Work>cvs commit
cvs [commit aborted]: your apparent username (Erik Springelkamp) is
unknown to this system
I just use the command line with cvs.exe from version 1.11.2
Does anybody know of this problem and how to overcome it?
(I like to use cvs from ant now for java development).
