I am using Wincvs1.1 version.
I tried to checkout a x.zip file into my local directory.
But I get an error when I try to open the zip file.
Please note that in Linux I am able to co and open the zip file without any
problem.
Why is it giving error in Wincvs?Could somebody help me !

This could be because the zip file has not been marked as binary.

Try "cvs status x.zip". You should see "Sticky Options: -kb". If you don't then you have to go to your linux box and tell CVS that the file is binary. Do it on the linux box, not on the windows box where the file is corrupted!

I'm not sure of the exact command, but it is something like
            cvs admin -kb x.zip
Someone will probably correct me if I am wrong.
