That I did... in /etc/inetd.conf:

cvspserver stream tcp nowait root /usr/local/bin/cvs cvs
--allow-root=/usr/local/cvsrepos pserver

% ls -Fla /usr/local/bin/cvs
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root other 1415516 Sep 13 14:06 /usr/local/bin/cvs*

# ps -ef | grep inetd
    root 140 1 0 Sep 13 ? 0:00 /usr/sbin/inetd -s
    root 29606 29605 0 09:39:15 pts/3 0:00 grep inetd
# kill -HUP 140

However, it seems the system itself doesn't recognize this newly installed

% which cvs

and that's all that comes up. I'm still not having luck logging in:

(Logging in to zaren@(host)
CVS password:
cvs login: authorization failed: server (host) rejected access to
/usr/local/cvsrepos for user zaren
