CVS eats memory and hangs on AIX 4.3 |

Hi all,
I am using a CVS server running on a AIX 4.3 box, and connecting to it using
a CVSNT 1.11.1.3 client (embedded in WinCVS) from a NT box.
When I launch some CVSNT properitary commands (such as ls), the client
correctly shows :
cvs [ls aborted]: server does not support ls
But the server goes mad: It starts eating memory (upto the limit, 256 Megs)
and hangs.
If the user retries the command a few times, the full system memory is
quickly eaten...
The only way to solve the problem is to kill the Unix process (kill -9).
I have noticed this problem using CVS 1.11.4, 1.11.5 (compiled from sources)
or the CVS 1.11.4 binary downloaded from
http://aixpdslib.seas.ucla.edu/packages/cvs.html
Any ideas ?
Thanks,
Benoit
