Requesting issue status changes?

Hello.

I'd like to help tidy up the Issue Tracker.

When I see a bug that needs its status changed, after adding a comment with
suggested new status and justification, is posting here the correct thing to
do?

In case it is:


Issue 99 should be confirmed, and then resolved as fixed.
