WinCVS No prompt for password

I have multiple Win2000 systems running WinCVS attached to a Linux Server. All but one is working fine. The one system will not prompt for password when you login. I just get exit code 1. Also, if CVS command “cvs” is entered I don’t even get the usage message. Again just exit code 1. I have uninstalled WinCVS and deleted all references in the registry then re-installed WinCVS to a different folder. My system path to WinCVS is the first item in the list. I have double checked network connectivity. I’m out of things to try before having to re-install Win2000 which is the last thing I want to do. Does anyone have any other things for me to check?
